Are you ready to learn the basics of the ancient craft of wet-felting?

  • Join me for in-person experience as I guide you through the techniques of turning raw wool fiber from my flock of sheep, into a beautiful and usable product in a way that preserves the natural lock structure and wild look of the original Icelandic sheep fleece.

  • Take part in one of the world’s oldest and most versatile functional art forms and arm yourself with the skills and hands-on knowledge to pass along this technique in wares you create.

  • Explore your creativity, intuition, and physical ability to create textiles through the wool medium.

  • Forge a connection with holistic methods of animal agriculture and art that is strongly linked to the land in Southeast Wyoming!

  • Take home your own functional and beautiful sit-upon to beautify and add exponential comfort to your favorite sitting place.

Let’s Get Felting!

I have teamed up with Jackrabbit Workshop in Laramie and I am so excited to be able to offer our community an in-person workshop centered around the wool from my small flock of Icelandic sheep.

All materials and tools will be provided.

*This workshop requires handling raw sheep fleece which does contain lanolin, dirt, and vegetable matter (grass/hay/weeds). If you have a known lanolin allergy or sensitive skin, please do not enroll in this course.*

It is a tremendous honor to share this craft and amazing aspect of my flock of sheep with you.

Thanks for your support and excitement!

I cannot wait to spend time making functional wool art with you and to learn of how you use these skills down the road.
