Snack Sticks are BACK- Now in Mild Pepper and Dill Pickle!

When do Sheep wear Plaid Sweaters?

For Plaid Friday of course!

I used Bing AI Generator to shove this more-than-willing digital sheep into a sweater, because my sheep objected to the idea of wearing sweaters for Plaid Friday, saying "we already have 10+ inches of wool on and we don't need anymore!"

Ever heard of Plaid Friday?

Plaid Friday replaces Black Friday and promotes the diversity and creativity of local and independent businesses.

On Plaid Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Artists Sunday, November 29th, 30th, and December 1st of this year, gift-seekers are encouraged to shop locally and enjoy supporting their communities while participating in the gift-giving season of the Holidays.

The name ‘Plaid Friday’ was chosen from the idea of weaving individual threads of small businesses together to create a strong fabric that celebrates small, independent businesses, and a tightly-woven community.

This truly embodies the spirit of the strong economy and vibrant community I wish to be a part of in Wyoming...

How about you?

Here are some of our fall offerings Peter and I have been working really hard to have available for the gift-giving season, that are now up on the Taste of the Wind online Store.

Pastured Pork- Breakfast and Italian Sausage

Ground Lamb

Ground Beef

Wyoming-Spun Laramie Lopi Yarn

Hand-Felted Pelts

Naturally Hand-Tanned Sheep Skins

Cleaned Sheep Skulls

Lamb Sampler Bundles

Sustainable, All-Natural Wool Dryer Balls

We are temporarily out of our lamb snack sticks in the online store, but we will have more in stock before Christmas! Stay tuned for the restock with one classic popular flavor, and one brand-new flavor!

Our snack sticks are still available at Big Hollow Coop, Snowy Range Flea Market, Fremont Local Market (In Riverton), and Meadowlark Market (In Lander) in the meantime.

If you will be out and about this weekend, I have a couple of awesome businesses you may want to consider sourcing your gifts from this Plaid Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Artist Sunday.

Check these out!

Come by the Civic Center in Laramie on Artists Sunday and say hi!

I'll have a booth featuring the more artistic products I produce from my small flock of sheep, and many of the business I have listed below will be there too!

Here are some of my favorite local businesses and where you can support them this Holiday Season:
