Snack Sticks are BACK- Now in Mild Pepper and Dill Pickle!

100+ Hacks to Reduce Waste and Save Money on Your Meats this Growing Season!

What matters most to you in your daily life?

Your health?

Your freedom?

Your happiness?

I believe all of these are tied together, I don't think this is a stretch for most people...

BUT, I also think that each of us has the freedom and power to go out and get these things for ourselves,

through knowledge and skills.

Living with intention can take us quite a long way when it comes to fulfillment, accountability for our own lives, and ultimately our health and happiness.

Would you agree, or would you claim that I have my head up in the clouds?

Welcome to Farm Club and Bulk Harvest Season with Taste of the Wind!

This year, I want you to experience the ultimate power and freedom to secure happiness and health by learning how to provide yourself the most nutritious and cost-effective food possible.

Here's the best part... the knowledge and skills are out there for you to obtain, and they're free!

If I could assemble a manual of everything I have ever learned that has lead me to increased Food Freedom, here's what would be inside:

-A Guide to Clean Food Sourcing

-Tips and Tools of the Trade and How-To Guide for Converting Raw Foods into Pure Nutrition

-Storage Techniques for Maximum Shelf-Life and Food Security

-Recipes to Make Eating the most Nutrient-Dense Foods SO Enjoyable you will Never want to go back to Eating Processed Junk Again

-How to Build Community Around Local and Nutrient Dense Food and Holistic Health

-Nutrition and Lifestyle Wellness Tips that Don't Require Medications, Doctors, Health Insurance, or Expensive Tests or Diagnostics

-A Step-by-Step Guide on Taking Your Food Supply into Your Own Hands: Raising What You Can Yourself, Foraging for What is Seasonally Available in Nature and in Your Community, and Trading For/Purchasing the Rest

-How to work with Local Producers to Own and Participate in Your Food Supply (farm-shares, collective farming/ranching, participating in crowd-sourcing ventures, and getting involved in your local food landscape).

This would be my version of The Ultimate Manual to Food Freedom, and I am pulling all of this info together for you.

I want to empower you with all of this information over the next few weeks so you will be ready to make the most of this growing season wherever you are going to spend it.

Hang tight and watch for my weekly emails because I will be tackling all of these topics in your inbox over the next few of weeks, starting today!

If you haven't already done so, please mark BJ@tasteofthewind.com as a contact, and reply to one of my emails (even if its just a quick "Hello!" or some gobble-de-gook message. This act of replying flags my email as somewhat important in the system and keeps my emails from going to your spam or your promotions folder in the future.

If you have some time. Tell me about yourself!

What kinds of things are important to you?

Why do you care about your food supply?

What kinds of things would you like to learn to give you the food security you may not feel you have yet?

I live and breathe local foods and I love hearing what motivates others to care!

I'm serious, I would love to learn more about you!

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then is a video worth a million?

I'm not sure, but when I found this video of 50 tips from Chef Gordon Ramsey, my mind was blown in the first 30 seconds, and I just knew I had to share it with you!

50 Cooking Tips with Chef Ramsey

When it comes to food sourcing, I think it would mean a lot more coming from someone other than your farmer. Try out this podcast. I found several parts extremely valuable, including how these Sisters turned their health around after decades of suffering, ways they have sourced foods when they couldn't find them from a local farm, and questions to ask farmers and ranchers they have wanted to source their food from.

Food sourcing strategies, priorities, saving money, and minimizing waste on the Freely Rooted Podcast

I hope these resources pique your interest and kick off our journey into the 2024 Growing Season together, with a bang!

Feel free to reply to this email and tell me what your favorite tips from above are.
